Nicki Minaj's 'Anaconda' Breaks Vevo Views Record
The viral video has knocked MiCy off the top spot having racked up nearly 20 million views already...
Nicki Minaj's raunchy new music video 'Anaconda' is the new Vevo record holder, having had 19.6 million views in 24 hours.
The Queens rapper takes the title from Miley Cyrus, who previously hit the top spot with 'Wrecking Ball' in September 2013.
Since it's premiere on August 19, the track has had a listening audience of over 20 million, as well as being one of the top trending topics on social media.
Nicki is no stranger to Vevo records, as she has previously set the most-watched record twice - once with Justin Bieber for 'Beauty and a Beat', and again with her solo effort 'Stupid Hoe' back in 2012.
You can catch Nicki Minaj perform the hit track at the MTV VMAs on Monday 25th August at 9pm on MTV UK.
