Moving into a new home – especially your first home – is an exciting time for anyone.

But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t come without a healthy spoonful of stress as a side dish that no-one actually ordered, as Chloe Patton and Jordan Edwards are finding out in this week’s episode of Teen Mom UK, with the couple arguing over cleaning chores as they settle into their new family home.

In this first look at the upcoming drama (airing Wednesday 25th April at 8pm on MTV), Chloe admits that she’s working double time to help with finances on their new home: “I’m doing two jobs to help pay the bills on the new house, so when Jordan gets home from work, he has to look after Marley.

“But by the time I get home, I’m worn out and I’ve got no patience.”

Returning home afterwork, Chloe’s initially very happy to hear Jordan’s fed their son Marley and got him to bed – but the good vibes make an exit when the mum discovers something in the fridge.

Not impressed, Chloe tells Jordan: “Are you joking? Come look at this fridge now.”

After eventually persuading Jordan into the kitchen (by warning him that if he doesn’t come over, she’ll turn off the TV), Chloe shows him the empty packet he’s left in the fridge, with the dad trying to explain: “Marley had it.”

Chloe isn’t here for his reply though, saying: “So Marley got in the fridge and left an empty wrapper? You’re full of excuses. Put things like that in the bin.”

Jordan, however, hits back: “The bath was a mess. I had to clean the bath,” before Chloe tells him: “You didn’t have to, I would’ve done it.”

The row continues whenChloe notices dirty pots and pans in the sink, saying to Jordan: “You can clean the pots.”

With Jordan refusing and continuing to play video games, the mum insists that he should because he “made the mess,” before she asks him: “When do I get a break? When do I get to play on a game?”

Frustrated that Jordan is giving the game his attention rather than replying to her, Chloe hits her limit and unplugs the TV, telling Jordan: “You’re a joke.”

Eek.
