It seems not everyone was happy after the nominations for the '2015 MTV VMAs' were announced yesterday (July 21).

Nicki Minaj took to Twitter to express her disappointment that ‘Anaconda’ wasn’t selected for the coveted Video of the Year accolade… causing Taylor Swift to fight back!

It all started when Her Minajesty tweeted MTV asking whether her collaborative effort ‘Feeling Myself’ with Beyoncé missed the noms deadline, leading her to then turn her attentions to ‘Anaconda’.

She wrote:

This then caught the attention of Taylor, who retaliated with the below comment:

Minaj was not best pleased by T-Swizzle reply, hitting back:

But, Tay was not done yet, with the ‘Blank Space’ hitmaker then inviting Nicki on stage with her if she does win the gong for her star-studded 'Bad Blood' promo:

Minaj is yet to respond to Swift’s invite, instead appearing to take another swipe at Taylor:

While all this was going on, Kim Kardashian found herself unfortunately dragged into their spat, after posting a snap of herself wagging her finger at the camera, along with the quote: “Imma let you finish but…”

This is obviously relevant as Kimmy’s husband Kanye West infamously interrupted Taylor at the' 2009 MTV VMAs' after she beat Queen B to the Best Female Video gong, to which he uttered the famous line as mentioned in Kardashian's tweet.

After fans spotted the apparent shade, the socialite later took to Twitter to explain that it was all a coincidence, writing:

She later reposted the sexy snap, writing alongside it: “Caption this... #VogueSpain #KimNoFilter.”
