Vin Diesel has been busy showing off his dulcet tones during an interview with Capital FM.

The actor - who is currently promoting his latest flick Guardians Of The Galaxy - took the time to cover Sam Smith's smash hit No.1 single Stay With Me… with hilarious results!

[related]As well as displaying his ability to hold a tune (perhaps not as well as Smith), Diesel also recently told Associated Press that his role of Groot in GOTG is "risky".

The 47-year old explained: "I think someone could have argued that it was a risky character choice going into, you know. As you've talked about there have been other Marvel characters that have been presented, characters that would play to a more obvious physicality, play to the legend of an action hero a little bit better.

"This is kind of the antithesis of that. I'm playing a very innocent character, I'm playing this enigmatic character. I take a lot of pride that he is kind of the strangest character Marvel has ever attempted to put on film. That feels cool. And I also feel like it's the movie that's off-world."

He added: "It's the movie that's now, I think, Marvel's mastered everything that's happened around the globe, and I think this a chance for them to be pioneers, for them to embark on a whole greater scale. To be one of those Guardians of the Galaxy is cool."
