Daniel Radcliffehas expressed his gratitude to Harry Potter books for his fame and fortune.
The actor was quizzed about his favourite book by kids' book publisher Scolastic as part of the Read Every Day campaign - and plumped for Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone.
He said: "It would be churlish of me not to say that it was the book that gave me everything I have."
Meanwhile Louis Tomlinson from One Direction had no pretensions when asked for his favourite, choosing David Beckham's Soccer Skills.
