Camila Cabello Talks That Fifth Harmony VMAs Snub: "It Hurt My Feelings"
Camila Cabello has revealed what she really made of that time Fifth Harmony launched a heap of shade in her direction by throwing a silhouette of a fifth member off the stage during their VMAs performance.
Camila – who has just released her self-titled debut album – parted ways with the group back in December 2016 to concentrate on her solo career.

While the group insisted there were no bad feelings between the girls, it soon transpired that this wasn’t *totally* the case. In a New York Times profile, Camila explained that she was “hurt” by the way the rest of 5H handled her exit.
Speaking about that time they threw a shadowed member of the group offstage before singing Angel,Camila said: “It definitely hurt my feelings. I wasn’t expecting it, I wasn’t prepared for it — especially because at that point I’d moved on from it. I was just like, ‘What? Why?’”
At the time, the band said the stage choreography was intended to solidifythe group as a four: “We get asked all the time if we’re getting a fifth member and we wanted to show the world in an artistic way that, hey, the four of us are Fifth Harmony," they told GMA.
Camila has since said that “holding onto the past” would be “petty” and suggested that the band effectively “shut her out” after she made a song with Shawn Mendes while still in the group.
The singer said it soon became clear that she couldn’t balance her solo endeavours whilst remaining in the group, and made the difficultdecision to break away from the band to pursue her dreams.
