9 Unexpected Kardashian-Jenner Business Ventures You’ve Probably Forgotten About
The Kardashian-Jenner clan might be rolling in their combined millions, but their fortune hasn't solely come from Keeping Up With The Kardashians and their various Instagram deals.
Throughout the years, Kim and co. have put their name to a series of weird and wonderful products that youmight have forgotten about. Behold, some of the money-making schemes that didn't quite hit the spot.

The Kardashian Kard
Back in November 2010, the Kardashian sisters announced that they’d be launching a pre-paid debit card called the Kardashian Kard. After coming in for a load of criticism surrounding high fees and irresponsible marketing, the gang pulled the card and distanced themselves from the product.
Rob Kardashian’s sock empire
The Arthur George collection is still going strong, but it’s fair to say a few people were left scratching their heads back in 2012 when Rob declared he was going to invest his time, money, and energy into building up an empire based around jazzy socks.
Kim Kardashian’s Sketchers
Remember that time Kim K starred in an innuendo-filled advert for a pair of body-shaping Skechers? The campaign turned sour when the company were ordered to cough up $40 million by the Federal Trade Commission for making “unfounded claims” about the product.
Tria hair removal
Kim Kardashian endorsed the at-home laser removal system in 2011, but again found herself in legal trouble after claiming that the product left her fuzz-free forever. She was later called out by rival company Radiant for misleading customers about the concept of hair removal.
QuickTrim
Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian were all slapped with a $5 million lawsuit after claiming that the diet pills would help fans emulate their trim figures. Themain ingredient in the product later turned out to be caffeine. Awkward.
Kylie and Kendall’s vintage t-shirt line
Cast your minds back to 2017 and recall that time the Kardashian-Jenner clan theorised that sticking Kendall and Kylie’s faces on top of a bunch of music legends would be a good idea. The vintage t-shirt’s were widely slammed, the girlsapologised, and the products were pulled from retail.
Kim’s selfie book
Kim’s decision to publish a photo book made up of all her best selfies didn’t quite correlate into huge sales. Despite boasting 108 million followers on Instagram, Selfish only sold a modest 32,000 copies in its first three weeks of publication.
Kendall and Kylie’s YA novel
Did you know the sisters are co-authors ofa novel called Rebels: City of Indra, the Story of Lex and Livia? The dystopian sci-fi series didn’t light up the YA charts as anticipated but it currently has a pretty respectable 3.7/5 stars on Amazon.
Kris Jenner’s arousal oils
That’s right. The matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner clan put her name to Zestra Essential Arousal Oils – a topically applied product that is designed to enhance an older woman’s sexual pleasure. Cool.
So there you go. Proof that launching a venture as successful as Kylie Cosmetics and KKWBeauty isn't quite as easy as it looks.
