The nominees for the 2016 Jameson Empire Awards have been announced, and they're not only refreshingly diverse, but well deserved.

Mad Max: Fury Road and Star Wars: The Force Awakens understandably lead the pack with ten and nine nominations respectively, but it's nods to Creed (two noms), Straight Outta Compton (two noms) and Suffragette (one nom) that right the Oscars wrongs.
