Perrie Edwards has flashed her feisty side by slapping a French man who said he once dumped someone via text.

The Little Mix star made it clear how she feels about people who end relationships in such a cowardly way.

And perhaps the Frenchman’s confession stung Perrie a little as it’s no secret that ex-finace Zayn Malik ended his four-year relationship with her via text too.

Perrie and her bandmates were appearing on France’s NRJ radio when host Sebastian Cauet confessed he had once dumped a woman by text.

Reacting near instantaneously, Perrie then slapped the radio host across the face – as the studio audience arupted into applause and chanting.

Far from looking traumatised, the host laughed along and Perrie immediately then went in for a hug and to make sure she hadn’t done any serious damage.

We’re not sure Zayn would have gotten off so easily.

Opening up about when Zayn ditched Perrie in the recent Little Mix autobiography, Our World, the star wrote: “It was horrible, the worst time in my life. A four-year relationship, two-year engagement ended by a simple text message. Just like that.”

At least the world now has stand out Little Mix tune Shout Out To My Ex as a result of the messy break up though (silver lining).
