Calvin Harris has premiered the video to his new single Summer, with the clip featuring a certain Hollywood hunk.

The promo is set in a desert where a dramatic drag race takes place, with actor Jason Statham making a cameo appearance.

Harris is seen in the clip wearing a white t-shirt and jeans, while an underwear-clad model watches him from a balcony before retiring to bed.

Staham appears behind the wheel of a car as he takes on a Calvin in a driving competition - which later results in a late-night pool party with lots of bikini babes.

According to The Daily Mail, Harris and Jason have become pals over the past few months, where they were seen partying in Las Vegas and at The Brit Awardstogether in February.

Summer is the first single to be taken from Harris' fourth studio album and is due for UK release on April 27.
