Taylor Swift's 'Reputation' Breaks Pre-Order Records
Taylor Swift's 'Reputation'could become her biggest seller.
The pop superstar had the fastest-sellig album of the past decade with her fifth album'1989'and it looks like she's going to break her own record next week.
She has already sold over 400,000copies of her new album based on pre-orders alone, which is double the amount of'1989'the week before its release.
Her label Big Machine Records revealed the figures over the weekend while also announcing that'Reputation'is Target's "biggest pre-sale of all time", which is a pretty huge deal.
If you're unaware of Target, it's one of the biggest chain stores in America and has been running for over 100 years, so Taylor breaking records for album sales in 2017 is wild.
Despite the singer refusing interviews this era, the'Reputation'era has gotten off a huge start thanks to the headline-grabbing lead single 'Look What You Made Me Do' and heightenedmystery surrounding the album.
In the last few weeks she has released the epic visual for second single'...Ready For It?' and two promotional singles 'Gorgeous' and 'Call It What You Want', and with every new release the anticipation for'Reputation'only grows.
Luckily for us, the album will finally drop this Friday (Nov 10th) and we'll find out if all of the crazy rumours (an Ed Sheeran and Future collab?) are true.
Taylor, go get 'em!
