2017 NME Awards Celebrate Christine and the Queens, Skepta, Wiley, Biffy Clyro & More - Full List
The VO5 NME Awards 2017 winners haverevealedwith Christine and the Queens coming up trumps winning both Best International Female and Best Track for 'Tilted'. Other big wins came for Skepta who took home Best British Male, M.I.A. who won Best British Female, and Biffy Clyro who were named Best British Band.
Elsewhere Bastille won Best Album for 'Wild World', The 1975 are this year's Best Live Band and Dua Lipa saw off competition from Zara Larsson and Anderson .Paak to take home the Best New Artist title.
Slaves beat competition fromBeyoncéto win Best Video for 'Consumer Or Be Consumed', however the 'Lemonade' superstar didn't go home (metaphorically - she wasn't even there) empty handed as shewas named Hero Of The Year.
Skepta introduced Godfather Of Grime Wiley who picked up this year's Outstanding Contribution To Music award while Pet Shop Boys picked up their Godlike Genius accolade.
In the not-so-coveted categories, 5 Seconds Of Summer scored a hat-trick, winning Worst Band for the third year running and Nigel Farage was dubbed Villain Of The Year.
Performing on the night were Bastille, Wiley, Dua Lipa, Pet Shop Boys plus a very special performance from the specially-formed supergroup Bands 4 Refugees featuringCharli XCX, Pixie Geldof, Marika Hackman and members from Years & Years, Swim Deep, Black Honey, Slaves, Circa Waves and Peace.
