Simon Cowell is apparently pulling out all the stops to get Cheryl Cole back on the X Factor UK judging panel.

According to Heat magazine, the music mogul - who is returning to the UK series himself - has offered Chezza £2million to make her comeback, despite previously insisting that with Cole "it's never about the money".

He is also said to have promised the Geordie babe access to his private jet and the chance to promote her new single on the show, after Cheryl recently confirmed she's started work on her fourth studio LP.

A source told the publication: "She wants to perform her new material on The X Factor - she knows it's the best way to get her music heard."

The insider also added that in a final bid to lure the Girls Aloud star back to the panel, she's also negotiated "unlimited funds for a TV wardrobe."

They added: "Simon feels The X Factor needs to turn a page, for how bad it was last year and boost ratings - he thinks Cheryl can do that."

As well as SiCo confirming he's been in talks with the 30-year old, Cole herself also hinted at a possible return after posting a Throwback Thursday snap of herself and Cowell from the 2010 series.

In related news, Cheryl has taken to Instagram to tease her return to the UK after spending a couple of weeks Stateside, writing: "Have had the craziest 2 weeks . Don't think I have ever been soo excited to get home and be with my loved ones."
