Dua Lipa has been honoured in a huge way by Kosovo.

The ‘One Kiss’ superstar has close ties with Kosovo as her parents are Albanian and she lived there for a few years in her teens, and she has now been given a key to her hometown.

This weekend she has returned to host her very own festival, which she has launched with her dad Dukagjin Lipa, that she is also headlining.

“Such an honour to be given the first key to Prishtina [...] from the Mayor of Prishtina, Shpend Ahmeti,” she announced on Instagram with a series of pics.

The pop superstar looked ultra glam and ever so gorgeous - as per - in a slick black suit with stunning tied heels for the historical moment.

SunnyHill Festival is a three day festival in Kosovo featuring pretty some big names including SG Lewis, Grace Carter and Bondax. Jealous!

Shekicked off the festivities last nightwith her own hit-filled set and she put on one hell of a show, performing her UK number one hits and string of collaborations, including the massive 'Lost In Your Light', originally a duet with none other than Miguel.

As one of the biggest names in music - and just one album in - we’re sure the festival will only grow from here on, and we can’t wait to see who performs next year.
