The Geordie Shore Cast Rally Around Aaron Chalmers Before His BAMMA Fight
Aaron Chalmers has a whole force of support behind him as he squares up against BAMMA opponent Karl Donaldson in Newcastle tonight.
The Geordie Shore lad might have had a hard time with MMA crowd in the past but one batch of people who will always be flying their flag in his name are his ride-or-die castmates.
'Let's all get checking out a bunch of the most incredible Geordie Shore transformations over the years...'
Sophie Kasaei, Marnie Simpson, Charlotte Crosby, Gaz Beadle, Nathan Henry, Abbie Holbornand Scotty T have each taken to their social-media profiles to prove what it actually means to be a true friend - and all of them are placing their bets on Aaron winning.
"Can’t wait for @AaronCGShore fight tonight, so proud of him win or lose love ya kid [😘] [💪🏽]," Nathan wrote, while Marnie said: "Good luck @AaronCGShore & all the best for tonight, you’ll smash it [💪🏻] Lots of love #fightnight"
The BAMMA 33 fight against Karl Donaldson is being screened on ITV4 at 9:30PM and the 30-year-old has already hinted that he has something special tucked up his sleeve.
"Here’s the thing: I’ve had about four fights in the last five months - one was a stoppage and one was a knockout - but I was tired of knocking people out so in the last few fights I was working on my defence, not trying to knock the guy out," he said.
"But they've seen that and were looking for someone who couldn’t punch so hard. And in those fights I wasn’t hitting hard. They’re judging me based on that. They don’t know I can hit so hard.
Discussing his strategy upon entering the fight, Aaron said:"I’m an aggressive fighter and I’m tough and I’m strong, so I’m going to go in there and let bombs off.I’m 100 per cent going to shock him.
He added: "If the chance is there to knock him out or submit him or whatever, I’m going to take it. You don’t get paid overtime in there. He thinks he’s going to knock me out and I think I’m going to knock him out. I guess we will see on fight night who’s right.”
Considering Aaron has aced both his previous two fights, we have no doubt he's going to pull out an impressive performance once again and silence all those negative critics.
Show them what you're worth, lad!
