When it came to celebrating KJ Apa's birthday this weekend, there was really only one way thatCole Sprouse could do it justice and that was by sharing the most embarrassing throwback photo he could find, naturally.

Like any good pal, Cole decided to alert the world to the Riverdale star's secret past as a choirboy and let's just say that the pic really doesn't disappoint.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Cole posted the rather adorable snap of babyfacedKJ with the simple caption: "Happy Birthday to little lord fontleroy."
