Rihanna Launches Collection At LFW
Rihanna has launched her first clothing line for River Island at London Fashion Week.
The models hit the catwalk in midriff-bearing mesh tops, yellow shift dresses, monochrome dresses with thigh-high slits and denim tops teamed with slouchy jeans. The style very much mirrored RiRi's own personal dressed-down but raunchy style.
The catwalk itself was a five-tiered creation that allowed as many looks to be simultaneously on display at once, A-list guests had plenty to feast their eyes on.
Guests such as The Saturdays' Mollie King, Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn were all seen on the front row.
Co-designer of the collection, Adam Selman also made an appearance and told Vogue: "This collection is based upon Ri's style and her mood - so it's evolved a lot.
"There were things that she couldn't find in the shops - for example simple, black, beautiful dresses, so she created her own.
"She was really interested in how things sit on the models and how they're cut. This all comes from her - it's very personal. She's at the top of her game right now in terms of her career and in herself. She's in a really good place."
This is not the first time Rihanna has flirted with fashion, she also teamed up with Armani Jeans in 2011.
In other RiRi news, the singer recently missed out on [uuid=d22112a8-3d37-4b23-8b0e-d4718e684f32]collaborating with Fun[/uuid] on their hit We Are Young.
