Taylor Swift has premiered her new song 'Out Of The Woods', taken from her forthcoming new album 1989.

Just hours after its midnight release in the US the track is already number oneon the iTunes chart, after a series of cryptic Instagram posts built up a huge amount of hype over the track.

Written by Swift and Fun's Jack Antonoff, 'Out Of The Woods' is widely rumoured to be about her past romance with One Direction's Harry Styles.

"This was a relationship where I was kind of living day to day wondering where it was going, if it was gonna go anywhere, if it was going to end the next day," T-Swizzle said of the track which is about the "breakable nature" of some relationships.

"It was a relationship where you kind of never feel like you're standing on solid ground. That kind of feeling brings on excitement but also extreme anxiety and kind of a frantic feeling of wondering."

UK fans can get their hands on the track when it's released as part of the album on October 27.
