It's time for Norwegian sensation Sigrid in Brand New For 2018's spotlight week and the bubbly star reveals herrise to fame is a real family affair.

"My parents told me after high school that I'd probably regret it if I didn't try itso I can thank them for that."
Wait... This is'not'what happens inHigh School Musical 3!
Sigrid's brother also played a part in his musical journey as he gave her an ultimatum that required her to write an original song if she wanted to perform alongside him, and the rest is history.
From then she went on to write mega-bangers like 'Plot Twist' and, of course, the brilliant 'Strangers' that is currently climbing up the UK Singles Chartlike crazy.
Of 'Strangers', Sigrid says the song is"about that feeling of wanting something to be something it's not."
"It's a sad song but it's a type of song that makes you want to cry and dance at the same time, which are my favourite club songs."
Isn't that'everybody''s favourite kind of song? If not, they clearly haven't listened to Sigrid and are seriously missing out.
