It's the news that many of you were longing to hear, but unfortunately Perez Hilton's "walkout" from the Celebrity Big Brother house is part of a secret mission.

The gossip blogger - who has managed to aggravate his fellow housemates and viewers in equal measure - will now be concealed in a secret room and influencing events for the rest of the HMs.

"Earlier today, Perez made the decision to leave the house and he will not be returning," Big Brother told the others - who reacted with a mix of shock and indifference.

"Wow I never thought I'd see that!" exclaimed Kavana.

While one of Hilton's few allies, Nadia Sawalha, remained expressionless.

And he had also found himself the centre of attention (surprise surprise) before his "exit", with Sawalha and Katie Hopkins clashing after the newspaper columnist called him "manipulative".

Sawalha told her: "Just because Katie Hopkins believes it, doesn't make it the truth."

And the tabloid troll replied: "It generally makes it a rather good idea though."

She also expressed her sadness that Sawalha had survived the eviction on Friday.

"Isolated in this House, (Perez) is nothing and that would have been a joy for me," she declared.

Astonishingly Hopkins has now overtaken Keith Chegwin as the bookies' favourite to win - with odds of 9/4.
