Chvrches have unveiled the studio version of their song from the soundtrack of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1.

Titled Dead Air, the song has only previously been heard by fans attending their live gigs in recent months - where it's been referred to as "Richard Pryor", "Gene Wilder", "Eddie Murphy" and "Sarah Silverman".

[related]But now they've given the comedy a rest and posted the studio version of the track on YouTube.

The movie soundtrack will be released on 17 November - with the film hitting cinemas a few days later.

Lorde has already revealed her song from the soundtrack - Yellow Flicker Beat.
