They didn't manage to make it to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's lavish wedding celebrations earlier this year, but Beyoncé and Jay-Z did turn up for a stranger's nuptials in Italy at the weekend.

The celeb wedding crashers got in on the action as a happy couple tied the knot in the tourist resort of Portofino on the Italian Riviera.

Dressed down in a straw hat and low-cut bikini, Bey and Jay didn't realise there was a wedding on until they stumbled across the happy couple posing for photos on the steps of the church.

And Queen B happily took the time to pose with the bride for a series of snaps.

It's unclear whether they did a turn on stage at the reception as well. We suspect not, but their happy appearance together has poured more cold water on the nagging rumours that their marriage is in trouble.
