Troye Sivan is back and better than ever before.

The 22-year-old singer finally premiered his brand new single 'My My My!' in the early hours of this morning, along with its gloriously queer music video.

Directed by Grant Singer - who did Lorde's 'Green Light' - the '80s-inspired video is stunning, sexy and such a triumphant return for the superstar.

'My My My!' builds upon Troye'selectro-pop comforts with added'oomph', which could be the elements of funk in the verse, explosive chorus or justhis generally elevated confidence.

From his incredible vocal performance on the single to his carefree jig and flirtatious sensuality in the video, it's evident that Troye has fully came into his own and is living his best life as a (very) grown, gay man.

He says 'My My My!' is "a song of liberation, freedom, and love. Throw all inhibition to the wind, be present in your body, love wholeheartedly, move the way you’ve always wanted to, and dance the way you feel – hopefully even to this song!”

Yep, sounds about right. You nailed it, Troye.

As we suspected from the previews, the partly black-and-white video references defining visuals from '80s queer icons, with George Michael and Madonna coming to mind throughout.

'My My My!' is the lead single taken from Troye's upcoming second album -which is officially set to drop this spring (!!) - and hepromisesthere's "so much more to come".

If this is only a preview of how epic things are going to get this era then we are'not'prepared but very, very ready for it.

Troye Sivan, the formerly underrated pop star, is on the tipping point of superstardom. It's about time.
