Holly Hagan Reveals Just How Desperate Her Struggle With Anxiety Really Became

Holly Hagan has always been one to open up about her battle with anxiety and panic attacks having previously revealed that she was "terrified and embarassed" by her struggle with the condition. Now, Holly has explained just how desperate her situationreally became when she began harbouring suicidal thoughts.

In a frank message shared on Twitter, the Geordie Shore lass explainedthat she finally feels comfortable enough to discuss what was actually going on in her headduring the peak of her anxiety back in 2015.

"I've wanted to write something like this for a while but wasn't sure how," Hollybegan. "I'm in such a good place at the moment but I need people to know it hasn't always been like this Mental health is such a taboo thing and I hope speaking out helps others.

Going into detail about how the condition first manifested itself in childhood, Holly then admitted that there were plenty of times throughout her life when she was dangerously close to being pushed over the edge.

"As a child/teenager I was also anxious, a worrier, always sad about something. I'll admit there were a lot of times I thought I'd be better of not here. It sounds stupid but it's like I've waited my while life to feel like this and do you know what it's f***ing worth it.

Finishing up with a final message of support to any fans struggling with the same issues, Hollyadded: "So please whatever you're going through, don't give up, it won't always be that way, things do get better. It's just part of your story."

The great news is that plenty of fans have resonated with the powerful statement and have sent what Holly describes as an "overwhelming" amount of support praising her brave decision to speak up about the condition.
