Ever since Miley Cyrus was spotted with her engagement ring back on that exact finger, it's been widely assumed that her and Liam Hemsworth were therefore once again engaged.

With sources backing such claims up saying they've never been happier, and sneaky paparazzi getting shots of Miley moving back in to Liam's house etc, it certainly all seemed to add up.

BUT NOPE.

Liam has now officially declared in an interview that none of that is correct. At all.

"I am not engaged, no," he said, when interrogated about his relationship with MiCy on Australian TV recently.

And while the interview was conducted two whole weeks ago on March 31, unless something has suddenly changed, we're going to stick with this now being the case.

Sorry, Liley shippers. At least they're still together though, going on cute lunch dates like this one.
