Daniel Radcliffe On Harry Potter: "I Still Love Those Movies"
Daniel Radcliffe has opened up about his Harry Potter success, telling Lorraine Kelly that living in the UK stopped him from being "cocky".
Speaking of fame, Radcliffe - who is currently promoting new movie Horns - said: "Doing the whole growing up as an actor in England is very different from doing it in America.
D-Rad went on to explain that he made a conscious decision to auditionfor roles different to Potter after the flicks finished, telling Kelly: "You only achieve longevity through variety and through showing that you can do lots of different things…
"When you're young and in your 20s you're castable as a certain thing but you ain't going to be playing that kind of character when you're in your 50s and if you are you're probably not going to be working - so you have to find as many things you're good at as possible."
The 25-year old went on to add that he "still loves" the Harry Potter movies, concluding: "If it was preventing me from getting other work I might be resentful of it but because I've always been able to have a career outside of it... I still love those movies."
Horns is due for release in the UK on October 29.
