‘Bring It On’ Is The Final Reference In Ariana Grande’s ‘Thank U, Next’ Music Video
The final part of Ariana Grande’s movie themed music video for ‘Thank U, Next’ has just been revealed and it’s an absolute corker.
The singer has been teasing a bunch of 00s rom-coms that she’ll be paying homage to in the video, with the final part of the puzzle piece being everyone’s favourite cheerleading movie, Bring It On.
Ari decided to release details about the final 25% of the video after spending an evening destroying Piers Morgan and his skewed perception of feminism on social-media.
The image featured the caption: "I transferred from los angeles, your school has no gymnastics team this issaalast resort ........ ok i’ve never cheered before so what?”
The good news is that the singer has already received a stamp of approval from the film’s director, Peyton Reed, who RT’d her post and added the message: “Ariana does BRING IT ON. I approve.”
Gabrielle Union also weighed in on the transformation, writing: "Why yes, I am an East Compton Clover! Are we meeting today @ArianaGrande I'll bring the punch,” as Ari replied: “I’m gonna pass out.”
The music video promises to be an extravaganza of 00s references, with Jennifer Coolidge making a cameo as her Legally Blonde character, Paulette, while IRL Aaron Samuels is also speculated to be dropping in with his sexy, pushed back hair.
Basically, the video hasn’t even been released yet and it’s already the best on record. Thank u, next.
