Geordie Shore's Sam Bentham Has Gone Down A *Very* Different Career Route

The radgie has kissed goodbye to his reality TV past.

It's not all glossy book deals and Celebrity Big Brother appearances for the Geordie Shore lot, with Sam Bentham deciding that he'd rather pursue the noble task ofgetting the nation's hair looking as mint as possible.

The radgie recentlylost out to Abbie Holborn in becoming a fully-fledged member of the series and - in a pretty surprising turn of events - opted to usethat setbackto help him open his very own barbershop in Hoults Yard in Newcastle.

In an interview with ChronicleLive, the 24-year-old said he's hoping to get his mitts on some A-list hair:“I think theGeordie Shorelot will be popping in for a trim. Aye, I’d like to get my hands on Scotty T and give him a haircut because some of his hairstyles have been a bit iffy.

Sam then explained that he's already got a whole heap of experience when it comes to cutting tresses and that he has every intention of keeping the business running until he retires.

"I have been cutting hair for seven years now. I spent three years in women’s hairdressing and four doing mens.I want to be my own boss now and test myself. This will be what I will be doing for the rest of my life, I love it.

“I’m working hard to get the barbershop open for the beginning of August. I hope to get some of the Geordie Shore lot down, which would be great.I can’t wait to be my own boss and push myself. It’s a challenge but I love that.”

No word on whether Scotty T is about to experience the makeover of a lifetime, but Sam's promise that the business will havebotha "PlayStation" and a "cafe" is sure to draw in a pretty hugecrowd.
