Hold Up Did Beyoncé Just Confirm Her Rumoured Joint Album with JAY-Z
It's no secret that Beyoncé and JAY-Z make brilliant albums. Beyoncé's latest record 'Lemonade' was one of the most critically acclaimed albums of 2016 and JAY-Z's confessional '4:44' already looks set to top plenty of Album of the Year lists this year.
Now, after years of rumours that the two stars might be making a joint album, it appears thatBeyoncé has confirmed them.
YES. BEYONCÉ AND JAY-Z MIGHT BE ABOUT TO RELEASE A WHOLE ALBUM TOGETHER.
Last night Beyoncé took to Instagram to celebrate the 15 year anniversary of their first duet "'03 Bonnie & Clyde". So far so normal. The 'Drunk In Love' star captioned the clips: "I can’t believe its been 15 years since Bonnie and Clyde".
She also added a lyric from the single that could mean something: "You ready? Let's go get 'em".
Of course, there's every chance that Beyoncé was simply quoting the song but what if she's teasing brand new music.
The joint album has been rumoured ever since Beyoncé released 'Lemonade' in April last year. However, the husband and wife have kept quiet and refused to officially confirm or deny the rumours that they have been working together on a record.
Fans of Beyoncé will know that she likes to cryptically tease new projects on Instagram. Long before 'Lemonade' came out the 'Countdown' singer posted images of lemons on her page, so it's not a huge leap to guess that this caption is a clue.
Fingers crossed that it is confirmation and that the two superstars release a joint album before the end of the year.
We need to hear this project! Imagine how brilliant it would be!
