50 Cent Explains Leaving The Expendables
The rapper says he is too busy with music to film the Stallone flick...
50 Cent has told MTV News why he has dropped out of Sylvester Stallone’s new action movie The Expendables.
In under a week the rapper has been announced to star in the action film- directed by Sly- and then pulled out.
In a statement to our US News team a rep for Curtis explained: “50 Cent was offered the role of Hale Caesar in 'The Expendables,' however as he is currently in the process of completing his forthcoming album Before I Self Destruct with Dr. Dre and Eminem he was unfortunately not able to commit to the project."
Fiddy had been due to replace Forest Whitaker in the role. The New York MC has previously appeared in a loose biopic of his life Get Rich Or Die Tryin and Righteous Kill.
The Expendables is likely to be one of the hottest movies of 2010 with a host of legendary action stars appearing in it.
Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren and Mickey Rourke will all star as a group of mecenaries who are needed to overthrow a dictator in South America.
There are even rumours that governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger will be starring in the flick too! We can’t wait to see this one…
