We can all agree that 2017 has been something of a wild ride from start to finish, and it turns out the fashion world has been equally as hit and miss as most of the other events that have gone down this year.

While the vast majority of us go about our regular life trying to blend in with the crowd, one group of people who were quite literally born to stand out are the rich and famous.

To be fair, we’d be disappointed if our favourite A-Listers rocked up to red-carpet events in anything less than a meat dress, cutlet earrings, and a matching slightly sweaty headpiece.

Even so, there are bunch of instances where the biggest names in the industry found themselves confronted by a whole heap of side-eye over their outfit selections.

Whether their choices were way ahead of their time or just a little too out-there to gain public approval, we have to give each and every one of the celebs featured major props for thinking outside thebox.

In honour of the year coming to a close, we checked in with Geordie Shore lasses Sophie Kasaei, Marnie Simpson, and Chloe Ferry to see what they make of 2017’s most interesting outfits.

In true Geordie style, the dynamic trio didn’t hold back when it came to reviewing the outfits that fashion magazines hailed as innovative and the rest of the world felt a little bit conflicted about.
