Zack Snyder To Direct Justice League Movie
Zack Snyder is to helm a future movie version of DC Comics' Justice League, it has been confirmed.
The Man Of Steel director will follow his current project - which has the working title Batman Vs Superman - with Warner Brothers' answer to Marvel's hugely successful Avengers franchise.
The news was confirmed by the studio's president of worldwide production Greg Silverman, who told the Wall Street Journal: "It will be a further expansion of this universe. Superman Vs Batman will lead into Justice League."
He did not mention a release date, although commentators believe a movie is unlikely to emerge before 2018.
There was also no elaboration on which DC characters could be included. Wonder Woman will be joining Superman and Batman in the Man Of Steel sequel and there were recent reports about an actor being cast as Cyborg.
The Justice League comics also involve Green Lantern, Flash and Aquaman.
