Ed Sheeranhas revealed that an over-enthusiastic fan once baked him a cake with a clump of hair inside.
The singer-songwriter told the Yahoo's OMG! site that a fan had presented him with the cake as a gift, only for him later to discover that she had added a little bit of herself (presumably) to the recipe.
He said: "Someone cooked it in a cake, a big clump of hair. Don't ask me how I found it out... I tried to eat it.
"I thought, 'It's very sweet to be given a cake. I shall eat the cake'. Then I found a clump.
"I was half expecting her to track me down and be like, 'I'm inside you now!', be proper stalker-ish."
But he insisted that not all the presents he was given were so odd.
"I get quite a lot of cool presents," he continued. "I got given some doughnuts with some Lord of the Rings Lego, which was cool. We like that."
