BTS are no strangers to making history. With 'MIC Drop' they became the first k-pop group in history to score a Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and at the American Music Awards in Novemberthey became the first k-pop group to perform at the event.

Now they've just become the first Korean act and only k-pop artist in history to land two RIAA certifications.

This week their huge single 'DNA' was certified Gold by RIAA and in doing so it became their second hit to land an RIAA certification. The first of course being 'MIC Drop' which went Gold just last week and peaked at Number 28 on the Billboard Hot 100.

We couldn't be happier for the BTS boys. There's no doubt that they deservethis acclaim and success.

In being certified Gold, both 'MIC Drop' and 'DNA' have sold over an incredible 500,000 chart copies in the US now. 'MIC Drop' was of course in part helped by an incredible Steve Aoki remix including afeature from Number 1 'Panda' rapper Desiigner.

BTS are also only the second Korean act after Psy to have a single of theirs be certified in the US.

Psy's 'Gangnam Style' was an international smash in 2012 that went 5x Platinum in the US alone.

Considering how popular they are, we have no doubt that BTS havemore US hits to come.

Not only that but we imagine that the boys will help bring more k-pop to the US charts too.
