Chelsea Barber has revealed that it came as a relief to realise that Holly Hagan wouldn't be in Geordie Shore, saying it might have been a bit awkward living with their now mutual ex Kyle Christie.

While Holly and Kyle have since called it quits, the Geordie newbie shared: "Me and Kyle were together for about a year on and off and it was a very up and down relationship, well, if you can even call it a relationship.

Telling the Daily Star that it would have put a damper on her experience, she said:"It was pretty hectic, it was pretty emotional, it was intense.I don't think it would've been very nice to live with him and Holly.

"Maybe if he hadn't been with Holly, but because Holly was in there it would've been hard for her and me."

Her major concern was that Holly would assume she was angling for a reunion with Kyle:"I wasn't scared in a bad way, just worried what she would think. I didn't want her to think I'd gone in there to get Kyle back.

"I wanted her to know that I was going in as a worker and I was going to have fun and be part of the family, so obviously it was a bit of a relief to see that she wasn't there."

At the same time, had Holly been in the house she would haveknuckled down andmade the best of it:"I think I would've enjoyed having that experience with her, with her being such an original and part of the family."

This comes after Chels revealed that she and Kyle had gone on a few nights out together and follows her tell-tale confession that the pair of them still "have a lot of feelings" to work through.
