Get An Exclusive Look At Halo: Nightfall
History has shown that video games don't always translate successfully to screen. From 'Street Fighter' to 'Resident Evil' and 'Tomb Raider', there have been many disasters over the years.
The latest attempt is this live action adaptation of Halo. A prelude to the highly-anticipated Xbox One game 'Halo V: Guardians', the five-part mini-series has already been released on Xbox, and is now making its way to DVD and Blu-ray.
[Related]Built around the Office of Naval Intelligence's legendary manhunter Jameson Locke (Mike Colter) and set on the human colony of Sedra, 'Halo: Nightfall'sees his team investigating a mysterious element that's fatal to humans following a horrific biological attack.
The search leads them to an ancient, hellish artefact, and they are eventually forced to fight for their survival and make the ultimate choice between their loyalty and their lives.
If that's not enough to convince you to have a look - it's worth mentioning that Halo: Nightfall is executive produced by the man behind 'Prometheus' and 'Blade Runner', Sir Ridley Scott. It was also penned by 'Prison Break''s Paul T. Scheuring and directed by Sergio Mimica-Gezzan, whose previous work includes 'Battlestar Galactica' and 'Heroes'.
'Halo: Nightfall is available digitally, and on DVD and Blu-ray from Monday 16th March in the UK.'
