Katy Perry and John Mayer have reportedly split for the fourth time. Yes, fourth.

The couple, who clearly can't actually make their minds up as to whether they like each other, are said to have called quits on their complicated relationship after spending the July Fourth holiday together in Chicago.

They relit the Kahn/Joty (none of those work, we're sorry) fire back in January, but it would seem their 7 month stint just wasn't meant to be.

The duo first got together back in 2009, and even released a PDA-heavy duet called Who You Love in 2013.

But John is no stranger to being the talk of the Hollywood dating scene, having previously been spotted withJennifer Aniston, Taylor Swift, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Minka Kelly.

Here's hoping to there not being a fifth, sixth and seventh break-up between these two.
