YOUR FAVOURITE MTV SHOWS ARE NOW AVAILABLE ON PARAMOUNT+

The Amount YouTubers And Bloggers Get Paid To Instagram Will Make You Want To Cry A Bit

Hint: its a LOT.

As if being a fashion blogger or YouTuber wasn't already enough of a dream career option, justwait until you hear exactly how much the top social influencers can charge brands to post a sponsored pic on Instagram.

While the social elite are a notoriouslyclosed book when it comes to talking aboutjust how much their careers are earning them, there's been a lot of speculation that if you're successful, you can charge a bucket load of cash to endorse products and brands of your choosing.

This conclusion seems to be supported by the folk over at WWD, who have revealed that as they understand it, some social influencers are nowchargingupwards of $100,000 (that's around £70,000) for a single pic.

That's not where it ends either and for major players with millions of followers, a year long campaign with a brand could earn them around half a million dollars.

"A sponsored Instagram post with a top fashion blogger can cost a brand anywhere from $5,000 to $25,000 — nearly five times the going rates just a year and a half ago," they report. "And that’s relatively small potatoes for brands that reportedly shell out $100,000 to $300,000 for a single sponsored Instagram post from Kylie Jenner."

Doesn't seem too bad a pay-off when chances are you're posting apic of some products you're already pretty into, does it?

We'll just be over here feeling pretty poor in comparison, but let us know what you make of all this with a tweet to @MTVUK.
