Kim Kardashian may still be celebrating her engagement to basketball ace Kris Humphries, but the socialite's mother has insisted that when married, Kimmy must keen her maiden name.

The Kourtney & Kim Take New York star is being urged by her mum, Kris Jenner, to keep the 'Kardashian' surname after she ties the knot later this summer, stating that she doesn't want the 30-year old to follow bridal tradition by changing her name.
Speaking to PopEater, Jenner explained: "I don’t think she should take his name and be Kim Humphries. I think she needs to be Kim Kardashian because she’s worked so hard to get where she is.”
Jenner also spoke of her soon to be son-in-law, stating: "Kris Humphries might not have known what he was getting into. This wedding is going to happen very much in the public eye. And they will make millions off of it.”

Meanwhile, Kim's sister Kourtney has revealed that Kris is a perfect edition to the Kardashian clan, telling People: "He fits in [with the family] already. I think they're just themselves, and I think that's the most important thing."

She added: "Kim is totally herself in front of him. Everything is easy, comfortable, no stress."
