Zayn Malik, or Zayn as he now likes to be known, has only gone and done it - his debut single ‘Pillowtalk’ is not only this week’s No. 1 single, it’s also the fastest selling single of 2016 so far.

This debut track from the ex-One Direction member has gone straight into the top spot with an impressive 112,000 combined sales, including just shy of 5 million streams… ALREADY!

Last week’s No. 1 single, ‘Stiches’ by Shawn Mendes has fallen to No. 3 in this week’s Official Singles Chart, with ‘Fast Car’ by Jonas Blue climbing to the No. 2 slot.

Meanwhile, Rihanna’s comeback single has ‘worked’ it’s way to No. 4(see what we did there?) and Justin Bieber’s ‘Love Yourself’ is still going strong, rounding off the Top 5.

‘7 Years’ by Luke Graham is in at No. 6, followed by another one of Bieber’s tracks, ‘Sorry’, at No. 7.

Snakehips are in at No. 8 with their infectiously catchy track ‘All My Friends (Ft. Tinashe)’, followed closely by One Direction’s ‘History’ at No. 9.

Rounding off the Top 10 is 2016’s biggest comeback so far in the form of the one and only, Craig David. His epic floor-filler, ‘When The Baseline Drops’ is No. 10 in this week’s Official Singles Chart.
