Dozens of fans took to Twitter to gleefully speculate on whether the pop star had suffered a nip slip during her pre-recorded routine.

However other fans insisted that they hadn't seen anything, and we're even divided on the matter here at MTV News.

The lady herself has maintained a dignified silence on the matter on the social networking site, preferring to retweet messages of support from her former Girls Aloud bandmates instead.

Her last tweet before bed last night was: "Thanks for coming down @NicolaRoberts means a lot to have you there. Love you loads"
