Cheryl 'Gets Booed' At X Factor Auditions
Returning X Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has reportedly been booed by the audience at the London auditions.
According to The Sun, the Crazy Stupid Love singer - standing in for a migraine-struck Simon Cowell - had promised to have “more fun” without him… but the same wasn’t true for some of the hopefuls.
[related]The paper claims one 26-year-old wannabe was in tears after Cheryl - as she is now known - said: “I think Simon was right, you could be your own five-piece band, but I think you should do stand-up or something like that. I just wouldn’t know how to mentor you.”
When the auditionee, named Sammy, replied: “But I don’t always have to be mental,” Chezza reportedly came back with: “But every time we’ve met you, you are.”
And there were boos from the audience when the recently-married star told another hopeful: “You need more stage presence, there’s nothing there. If Justin Bieber came on to that stage…”
Still, Cheryl still managed to steal the show in a fabulous colour-block dress at yesterday’s Wembley auditions.
