Cheryl Cole has dropped the biggest hint yet that she will be making a return to the X Factor UK.

The gorgeous Geordie took to Instagram this morning (February 13) to share a Throwback Thursday image of herself and Simon Cowell on the judging panel, taken from the 2010 series.

In the pic, Chezza can be seen pointing her finger at SiCo, as the music mogul smirks back at her - reminding her followers of the banter she had with Cowell on the panel.

The Call My Name singer simply captioned the snap "#Tbt", with many fans suggesting that Cole was alluding to her XF comeback - especially since Simon himself has announced his return to the UK series.

Earlier this week, Cowell confirmed speculation that he was in talks with the Girls Aloud star to make reclaim her judging seat, telling BANG Showbiz: "To be fair to Cheryl, it hasn't been about the money with her.

"It's about whether she wants to do it and whether she can handle the pressure, so I'm not quite sure yet [if she will come back]."

The news comes after The Sun claims Nicole Scherzinger has quit XF, with a source telling the newspaper she now "has to focus on her music."
