Iggy Azalea can’t wait to play Beyoncé. Iggy said: “She’s a queen, I just love her,” adding, “When I think about Beyoncé and her career, and her life, and her husband, and her kid, everything just seems to be almost a fairytale for her and I just think every girl, even me growing up looking at her, she just like paved the perfect path of how to do it and so I think it’s only right that she be the ambassador for this concert.”
On the Chime For Change cause Iggy admitted: “When I heard that they would be trying to support women in education…that was something that really hit a nerve with me because I never graduated high school.
“So to watch this film that they showed me about how hard it is for those women and to know that I had an education kind of readily available for me and chose not to take it really made me feel like, ‘Woah! I didn’t know that’ and I think there’s probably so many people that don’t know that and I would love to use my platform now to try to help those girls go to school and also to help women that have education available to them to hopefully go through and finish and not be like me.”
