Vicky Pattison has opened up about the secret twist that went down at her engagement party and it’s fair to say we feel a bit on edge just thinking about it.

The former Geordie Shore lass has always been upfront about the pressures of getting her wedding guest list in order and - up until recently - was still uncertain about who would receive an invite to her nuptials.

That’s when the brains behind the bride really came into action, because she decided to use the engagement bash in Newcastle as a literal audition to see which guests deserved tickets.

Opening up about the situation in an interview with OK! magazine, John Noble said: “Our wedding invite can only up to 200 people, so we actually used the party as an audition to see who was going to make the final cut!"

As for how the process actually worked, Vicky made mental notes throughout the night of which guests either a) didn’t bother to show up at all, or b) caused absolute carnagewhile there.

“We invited a load of people to the party to see who wouldn’t turn up and who didn’t behave themselves after a few drinks,” Vicky divulged.

Pointing out that her detective skills deserve some kind ofaward, she added:“We’ve now got a list of people who we won’t be inviting to the wedding. It was The X Factor of engagement parties and I was Simon Cowell."
