This ‘Ghost’ Picture Taken At The Hotel That Inspired The Shining Is Understandably Freaking People Out

OH LORD.

When it comes to famous (or infamous) hotels, the Stanley Hotel might just be one of the biggest.

Why is that? Oh, only because Stephen King used it as inspiration for his classic horror book The Shining.

Weirdly, people still choose to stay in the Colorado based hotel despite that fact, and we refuse to be surprised that now, a person has claimed they’ve snapped a picture of a ghost chilling out in some sort of lobby area.

SO MUCH NOPE.

Henry Yau, who we don’t trust for the main reason that he chose to go into The freaking Shining hotel, uploaded a creepy photo of what appears to be a person standing behind a stair banister.

So far, so terrifying.

But that’s not all, because apparently if you zoom IN on the picture, commenters are also spotting added things like a child or even the ghost holding onto a man’s head.

Romantic.
