The world’s obsession with Stranger Things shows no signs of slowing down (because it’s awesome), and there’s now even a bar themed around the Netflix show.

The Upside Down (great name) is a pop up based in Chicago, and features all kinds of references to the TV programme centered around Eleven and co.

Like the wall in Joyce Byers’ living room, after she’s ‘redecorated’ it to communicate with her not-so-dead son, and a reconstruction of Castle Byers, the den said son Will built.

It’s not just the decor thats all things Stranger either - the bar also serves a signature slushie cocktail ‘Eleven’s Eggos’, served with a slice of waffle on the rim in homage to the characters love of the breakfast treat.

Oh and don’t worry - Barb hasn’t been forgotten(LONG LIVE BARB) - she’s in pride of place on the Jagermeister machine, so that’s nice.

You’ll have to move quick if you want to visit though - the pop-up is only open until the end of September, ahead of Stranger Things series 2 (yaaaaaaas) which kicks off on Halloween. Can’t. Wait.
