Jenna McDougall, lead singer of Aussie rockers Tonight Alive, might be receiving an irate phone call from Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor any time soon – it’s very clear from their new video, ‘How Does It Feel?’, that Jenna has nicked his original hairstyle! While Tonight Alive are definitely no Slipknot impersonators, the evidence speaks for itself:

Just kidding, obviously Jenna’s peroxide crazy-twisty-twizzly things are all her own, and they suit the early 2000 vibes of this new video and track perfectly.

Tonight Alive are seriously ANGRY in this new video and ‘How Does It Feel?’ has got a nu metal, Linkin Park-crossed-with-Avril Lavigne thing going on which is 100% great. Picking things up dramatically from their previous single ‘Human Interaction,’ Tonight Alive of 2016 is a louder, feistier beast than ever, with the band thrashing about in a cage of lights which could have been stolen from the set of 'The Matrix'.

Jenna’s aggro lyrics are calling a mystery person out for living in a bubble and mistreating someone…no prisoners are being taken here. She told 'Kerrang' magazine that the lyrics to this track: “…are about the kinds of manipulative relationships most of us will encounter at least once in our lives whether they are platonic or romantic. I’m a person that shrivels, dies and totally combusts under someone else’s control. I’ve had enough brushes with people on power trips to protect myself now, but 'How Does It Feel?' revisits the warning signs and calling out your suppresser.”

With their new album, 'Limitless', out on 4th March, perhaps we can expect an even more defiant and dramatic Tonight Alive this year?
