And the news was backed up by Coronation Street actress Michelle's spokesperson, who told the Daily Mail: "I can confirm that the relationship has recently ended."

But even though they clearly failed to make it work, Michelle still defended Max this week when pictures of him kissing a new woman were sold to the press.
She said: "He even gets kissed when I'm with him... I don't mind. When you go out with someone in one of the biggest boybands in Britain you have to expect this sort of thing."
