Real-life couple and co-stars Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield stole the show at the world premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 yesterday evening.

The movie stars looked blissfully happy as they posed together on the red carpet, taking plenty of time to sign autographs, chat with fans and pose for the cameras.

And Garfield even had some special guests in the form of the children he had visited at a charity in South London earlier in the week - with whom he arrived on a bus rather than in the more traditional limo.

Other stars present included Dane DeHaan and Jamie Foxx - with the latter challenging Garfield to a dance-off right there on the red carpet.

But despite looking poised and sensational in a long yellow dress, Emma Stone displayed an endearing touch of nerves when talking to reporters.

She told The Mirror: "This is very overwhelming and very exciting! There’s a lot of people with painted faces - like me!"

"I'm just wondering if there are people that are good at this - giving clear answers in overwhelming environments!"

The movie goes on general release on 16 April.
